Partners Preschool accepting enrollment

June 24, 2009

Partners Preschool, a preschool program facilitated by Elk Grove Adult and Community Education (EGACE), is still accepting enrollment at two locations for the 2009/2010 school year.

Partners Preschool is a unique program that combines student and parent learning.  Parents are required to attend parenting night classes three times a month and volunteer in their child’s classroom four times a month.

Registration is being accepted at two locations: Valley High School and Point Pleasant United Methodist Church.  Partners Preschool offers two classes at Valley – one in the morning and one in the afternoon.  Point Pleasant United Methodist Church offers a morning class.  Classes meet for four days a week, Monday through Thursday, for three hours a day.

To be eligible to attend a Partners Preschool, students must be 3 or 4-years-old by December 2, 2009, toilet-trained and have current immunizations.  Parent requirements include: verification of a negative TB test; regular attendance on assigned workdays and night classes; and payment of monthly fees on or before the due date.  Priority is given to residents within the Elk Grove Unified School District.
